This small tool will allow you to remove your wheels on the trail without carrying larger bulky tools. It has a recessed socket that fits neatly in the swing arm for ease with the rear wheel and a hex spanner at the other end long enough to spin the front axle bolt out clearing the fork protectors. It has been plated in a zinc coating to provide protection to the tool for an extended period.
Please note -
The rear wheel nut and front axle need to be backed off before use using your standard workshop tools and then re-tightening using this tool. To avoid damage to the tool you should not apply extra leverage to the tool or use your foot or hammer etc to provide force.
You will be able to tighten your wheels sufficiently using this tool and after your first attempt recheck the tension after 50 kms.
